This is a no-brainer and hardly earth shattering. But some places on earth do seem to function as "strange attractors", so to speak.

What do: singer John Denver, actress Demi Moore, astronaut Edgar Mitchell, and (the giveaway) rocket pioneer Robert Goddard all have in common? They were all either born in , raised in, or spent much of their lives in Roswell, New Mexico. Roswell is a nice little place, but hardly near the crossroads of much of anything. So I am thinking: what are the chances of it "producing" at least four famous people? Or I am connecting dots that don't ?
