Satellites do NOT move like this. Father and son have the camcorder focused on the TV, which is hooked to a night vision scope set up outside. Just watch. First singular object appears to be a satellite. Then the 2 objects appear. Pay close attention to the direction the 2 objects take in relation to the background stars.

HOLY CRAP. Finally, somebody captured what I saw (and reported to MUFON and National UFO Reporting Center) on 7/30/2006. My sighting was three of these things, but moved the same way. WOW.

We mastered information technologies... guess what most of the processing power is used for LOL.
 
These night vision videos have become the rage recently. Youtube is loaded with them. What people are filming with this technique could be just about anything; birds, debris, insects, satellites, and yes, even alien space craft I suppose. But I find it a little hard to believe that such a simple technique is so effective at uncloaking true saucers. It seems that anyone who tries this is able to capture similar things.

I'm thinking birds. They aren't all that bright suggesting reflected light, not emitted light. They vary in their distance from each other. They change direction. You can't really answer the elevation question with any certainity. I fancy I see their wings flapping.

Wickerman, I am unaware of any similar videos. Please provide links, I would like to see them. You must have examples I imagine, because you stated that "anyone who tries this is able to capture similar things". And, since this is something that I personally experienced, I am VERY interested in any videos of the like. So, please, do supply others, I would be most appreciative.

As stated before, I saw some of these same things in the night with unaided eyes. They were lit up just like a medium magnitude star, but moving just like these. Very high altitude -- could tell by the way they did not dip into the horizon very much before I lost them in the city lights north of me.

The ones I saw actually made circles, very tight circles, at the same speed the ones in this video were traveling, and at the same close proximity.
 
I'll be honest about my ignorance...
Although interesting to watch I have absolutely no idea what I am looking at. Can't even venture a guess.
 
I don't know if birds would appear that clearly - it's just a plausible explanation. If we can say it's aliens, then we can say it's birds, no?
 
I don't see the bird theory as being implausible at all. They are not that vivid. Indeed, they are more faint than the stars. With night vision capability you are picking up any stray light at all, including reflected light. Of the moon is out or, indeed, any ambient light from a city or town, you have enough to pick them up.

The behavior fits the pattern of birds. They vary in their distance from each other. Their flight pattern is somewhat erratic and changes direction in a seemingly random pattern. They are certainly not 'in orbit' which would be indicated by an eveness of trajectory and speed.

In the final analysis the resolution is not good enough to come to any conclusion. All you have is a couple of dots in the sky. There's nothing to take to the bank here.
