OSX 10.9 Mavericks

Anybody updated to this fella yet? ITS FREE. But that might not be a good thing.

That it's free is all about marketing, not quality. For most, Mavericks is great. There are some glitches, but only one, an issue with external Western Digital drives using WD's own apps, seems serious. Solution is not to use WD's apps. Otherwise, it works quite well.

I've used it since the earliest days of its availability.

Thanks Gene. You never know with these things wether to wait till they update. I have had some trouble with ios7.

If you're gun-shy, there's a published report that Apple is currently testing a 10.9.1 updater. I would expect to see that by the first of the year, based on Apple's usual schedule, assuming the report is correct, and I have no reason to think it's not. So if you haven't upgraded at this point, no harm in waiting a bit more.

Yeah i might wait. Once bitten and all that. When i updated ios7 on my phone I found I couldn't use my 3rd party spare chargers and all my names wiped off my phone., plus my wifi connection dropped down a notch. Lucky i backed up to the iCloud but still, the 3rd party block so I have to pay apple more money??? They have had so much money off me that they now want a few bucks for leads.

I didn't see anything like that on my wife's iPad, aside from a little sluggishness. But my iPhone shipped with iOS 7, so I didn't see any issues of that level.

yeah i know some people with problems others not. i like ios7 though.
