Ron Away

Paranormal Adept
As a break from the political turmoils here and in the U.S Ive been in discussion with Goggs and Spectre 73.We are just putting out the feelers to see if anyone over here would possibly be interested in some kind of meet up.A sky watch or a haunted house vigil or whatever. It would just be an excuse for like minded individuals to get together and share tales or to describe their paths into paranormal intrigue.
Nothing concrete has been discussed and it is at a very embryonic stage.Anyone interested join in the discussion here. Thanks for your time
Ron.

Hey speaking of which I'm taking the fam to the UK next year for a month or so.

Going to do the obligatory stuff in London, but then get the heck out of there because I hate that town. Going to spend some time down south, then scoot to cumbria and maybe hit the highlands before jumping over to Ireland.

Any good highlights to hit from a paranormal perspective that are maybe off the beaten path and family (pre/teen) friendly?

On a round about route to Cumbria you could visit Whitby in North Yorkshire.Famous for the early career of the explorer James Cook and notably for inspiring Bram Stokers Dracula. The ruins of Whitby Abbey on the cliffs over looking the sea are well worth a visit and there are activities here for the kids. This is where the ship carrying Dracula was wrecked!.Wherever you visit legends abound.Have a great trip

Shamelessly bumping this thread.Sometime in the New year,Goggs,Spectre and myself are meeting up probably in Edinburgh to visit the underground city ghost walk.Anyone interested in joining us can p.m any one of us and we will try to come up with an itinerary to suit all.

Goggs has contacted Gene and Chris about documenting our visit probably via a video diary. We have some night vision and digital recording equipment so we are reasonably set up to give it a good go.
If we do get anything worth sharing with you all,we will, with permission post it.

I envy your bravery, the only spirits I want to be within ten miles of come in a bottle ;)

We absolutely will. And by the way, anyone is invited and welcome to submit anything on audio or video for inclusion in the Paracast + section. Gene and Chris are really serious in giving access to the platform to any contributions. I think lots of members would love to hear/see stuff from other members. I would, and I'm sure others feel the same.

So don't be shy folks. Nobody is looking to knock people for trying to provide content for each other. I know we have an enormous pool of talent just waiting to be tapped!
