Passing through solid objects

Ok there's this one particular strangeness about abductions that I've been thinking about.

It involves the fact that, apparently, these beings are able to pass through solid objects such as walls and things. And yet, in the majority of the accounts I've read the "aliens" come in through a window or door (often the closet door).

I've wondered why they would bother. Why not just pass through any arbitrary part of the wall, or perhaps the floor or ceiling?

Those in the forum that have had abduction experiences, does this match with your experiences? Do they enter into the room through a door or window?

To clarify, I've specifically read accounts of them passing through *closed* windows or doors.

So basically I'm seeing some sort of pattern here, and wondering if it's accurate and what it might mean.

Anyway, if this is indeed the case in the majority of abduction accounts, I have a theory about why this might be so. In the book Journeys Out of the Body by Robert Monroe (one of the very first accounts of OOBEs), he describes how he is unable to pass through the walls of a faraday cage while out of the body.

Perhaps in certain cases the beings are in an "out of body" type state, and the electrical system in the walls causes some sort of obstruction and thus they pass through a window or door.

I am an experiencer and have percieved them entering through windows ,doors and just showing up by my bed. I look at the perception in more of an abstract way than literal. My mind may perceive them enering through a window because that is a frame of reference. How do we as humans understand 4D and 5D type of realities?

Yea that thought occurred to me, that the pattern may be based in the observer rather than the observees.

But that of course makes you wonder... if one's own mind conjures up the idea that they entered through a door or window because entering through a wall doesn't make sense in ordinary reality, then why wouldn't it conjure up the idea that the visitors look like humans, because looking like aliens doesn't make sense in ordinary reality either.

If we are able to transform one aspect of the experience into something mundane when in essence it is not, then it seems that we should be able to transform the entire experience into something mundane and explainable.

Then again, maybe the visitors are the catalyst for altering the abductee's experience (rather than the abductee himself).

You have asked some very good questions. I wish I had some more to add but I really don't. I am not sure why certain beings seem to look the way they do when they don't appear to live in the same reality as us.

When I am having these experiences there is no doubt in my mind that this is real on some level but not altogether physically real. WTF is real anyway?

It could be that you have it backwards. Perhaps the visitors are not so much bending our reality as much as drawing us into theirs, causing ours to "dissolve" as they adjust us to their level. It would also explain the "on the clock" nature of abductions, in a fish-in-a-bucket-of-water kinda way.
