I wonder what they propose to do. If the priest did not COPY, but simply USED the toys that he legitimately owned, I can't see how they have a case. Even if he altered their appearance it wouldn't count as any kind of infringement. It will be interesting to see how this develops, but I predict it will be thrown out of court.
 
Once again Schuyler, your insight is on par. I would agree that this could be painted as being pretty silly by a defense attorney, and who wants to take a priest to court? Oh yeah HUGE GERMAN TOY CONGLOMERATES.:D
