Philip Schneider / William Cooper

Lost Chicken In High Weeds
What's the consensus of those who have looked into them? I've seen the Google videos, and read some articles, but I'm sure there are some here who are more hard core researchers and would be curious as to what has been dug up regarding their legitimacy.

Cooper = kooky fanatic.

Phil = probable kook, but not as definitive as with Cooper.

I wouldn't ask you to write an essay, but would you mind elaborating just a little on that, as in basically why you feel that way? I'm in no way trying to defend either man as I don't know anything beyond the basics, but the info they tend to present strikes me as more or less believable.

From off the top of my head....

Cooper: Thinks driver shot JFK. Thinks Stanton Friedman is a gov.spook, so's Budd Hopkins. Thinks that no ufos are ET/"alien", all are from big brother to use in the "New World Order", though his stance has changed somewhat from time to time. He's a prick/asshole/drunk. Has fundamentalist Christian views. No one even within the whacky field of ufos takes him seriously. Pretty bad when even kooks, call you a kook. Thinks guns can stop the gov. Cops killed him, not even the military. He did die like he eluded he would, though in a less heroic fashion. Here he thought guns could stop the gov. but knew he had a good chance of dying in a shootout.... Clouded thinking. The list goes on. Here's something worth reading on Cooper. http://www.intrudersfoundation.org/william_cooper.html

Phil. Tall on claims, short on evidence. He reportedly had "evidence" but didn't do the reasonable thing with it. Showed it off as knicknacks at ufo conferences. This is usually, (but I won't say always) a sign of one being a liar, kook, or both.

Both were (both dead) mentall ill, IMO. I have read "Behold a Pale Horse" and William Cooper added in already debunked info like the Iron Mountain Report and the Protocals of Zion. He went even crazier, sent his family away, and then shot at some cops getting himself killed. He has a cult following of idiots who think we was anything but crazy. He may at some point had a bit of truth to what he said but he lost his mind towards the end of his life.

Philip Schneider was alot more interesting IMO. I found him more interesting because of of his background and his work with compaines like Bechtel who would no doubt be involved in something like that if there is any truth to it because they are evil bastards. He lost me at when he shot a 8 foot alien underground though. I think he may have been exposed to some legit info on underground bases but either lied about the alien encounter or had his mind messed with so he thought it was true.

Ahhh, much appreciated. I have only begun to scratch the surface with them so had not known very much yet.

How bout David Adair? I'm checking him out at the moment and am thinking BS artist pretty early, but would love to know from those who have already tread the same path.

I haven't seen anything backing Adiar's claims up. Many science "experts" say he's bogus in terms of the rocket science he spews. I am not knowledgeable enough in rocket science to know, so can't give an informed opinion on that aspect.

The best he's got to back up his claims (that I can recall) is some newspaper clippings of he being a rocket nerd as a kid. I'll be nice and say his case is inconclusive though. His story is entertaining, so not a waste of time for the bored. There's interviews of him at Youtube/Google I think. Give them a listen sometime.

Both of these guys were your basic right-wing, faux-christian, paranoid whackos. I especially liked Schneider's comments about how one member of the Clinton cabinet was (according to him) a lesbian as if THAT was the worst thing about the Clinton era government. Priceless. Also his look-but-don't-touch policy regarding his "evidence" speaks volumes. I won't even bother commenting on Cooper, the others in the thread have covered him pretty well.

Bottom line: just watch their lectures on Google video and judge for yourself, these guys put their feet in their mouths so often it's a wonder they can form sentences.

Just watched the Schneider lecture that apparently "got him killed".

Some of the stuff he said was just ridiculous. I especially like "..the Soviets are shooting down 50 saucers per month".

Unbelievable.

I don't buy his story. The only thing of any remote substance is his death seemed a little odd. At least what reportedly happened. I do not know if it's rumor or not, but his death MIGHT have been foul play.

If there is any truth to his story then I imagine it would be an extremely bad prognosis for us here on planet earth. Complete world take over by 2029? Uh-oh.

Paleeeese.

William Cooper did one fantastic thing before he died. I've mentioned this before somewhere in this forum but I'll say it again.

He called out Alex Jones. He outed him as a fearmonger and liar ... and my god he got that right, didn't he Infowrestler fans 8)

schtick going to run away now since hardcore AJ fans will start trying to give me chinese burns while they shout at me through megaphones ... sorry 'Bull S*** Horns'

That was the pot calling the kettle black. Cooper was both a liar and fear mongererererer. I'm not a hardcore Jones fan btw, so I'm not sticking up for him. I'm not even a softcore fan.

No kidding. You'd have to invent a new word for that kind of thing, since "hypocrite" doesn't fully match the magnitude.

FYI schticknz, we call 'em "indian burns" on this side of the planet.
