Photos of Flight Museum in Dallas, Texas

Free episodes:

I would love to see more pictures of the Chance Vought V-173 please.
Thank you very much. Hope you enjoy your visit.

Dear Charlie, thank you so much for taking the time to photograph and upload the pictures, they are brilliant. I owe you one.
Best wishes Harry.

Apollo 7 was poorly displayed. They had a sheet of plexiglass affixed across the door, so you couldn't stick your head inside it. Yet, the interior was unlit. It was so dark inside that seeing anything was difficult.

I most enjoyed the SR-71 engine, the balloon basket, and Huey helicopter. The ability to actually touch the exhibits is a huge plus. Most museums strictly forbid touching.

It wasn't a world-class museum, but the entrance fee of $8 was very reasonable and appropriate. I've paid far more for far less at similar museums elsewhere.

The Dallas Museum of Art is also good and reasonably priced. http://www.dm-art.org Their full Samurai suit of armor is very cool.

I have been reading about concept planes and came across this film from 1909: I had never heard of it until today, and was happy to find a youtube version of it.
N.B the titles and music were added recently but the film is original from 1909*.
