Please Help Us Land a New Advertiser!

Larry O'Connor, of MacSales.com, is a pretty skeptical businessperson. He is interested in advertising on our shows and sites, but he first needs proof that our listeners will respond to his promotions.

He's got a hot-selling product, the Power2U AC/USB wall outlet. It makes your walls "today ready" by making it simple to charge your USB devices from your AC outlet -- that includes your iPhone, iPad, iPod, and any other device that needs a USB port to recharge. Lots of Android handsets and tablets use it too.

Well, it's an experiment for MacSales.com. I might actually need one. It replaces the wall sockets you already have in any room in your home.

I'm curious: Did any of you actually order any products from that company? They say no, which is why we're not carrying their advertising.

Doesn't matter, if someone has ordered from that company, MacSales (or one of its affiliates) as the result of this thread or the handful of ads we sampled on the show, I'd like to know when and what. I'm really curious.

It great idea with USB connection within the power socket and ideal when building or renovating a home. Seems like a good ad which suits modern day living.

Yeah. Problem is that, in our kitchen, all of the outlets are GFCI protected, and I don't see that these USB adapters offer that protection, so I'll have to ask.

I have bought tons of stuff from them over the years. I used to buy all my hard drives and ram there.
