So I was listening to the story on your last podcast, WTF did Jim report the finger to the police? I am confused is there any truth to this story?
 
yeah thats what I was thinking, the first thing I would do if I found a disembodied finger is call the police. Thats the only thing that would make since, so what happpened to the finger?

In light of the circumstances, I suspect there was a fear to act in that fashion. But it's a good question anyway.
 
I dont know if Jim said he still has it.

First thing I would have done is checked for certain that it wasn't a prosthetic. They can make extremely convincing pieces for films and TV.
 
David could you ask him if he had it checked for biological matter? Or did he smell it? (I guess he would have smelt it)

Yes that would be nice, and also can there be more investigation done into this? Surely if this guy stayed at Jim's house that he must have told Jim a couple things or more about his story.

Dave and Gene can you do a further update on the show with Jim to find out more details?

Credibility...the entire finger episode calls into question Jim's credibility.

I also found that "finger rendition" somewhat curious. Let me simply say this, I interviewed Jim back in the early 90's and found that while Jim is a very nice guy, he is "LONG on stories ans SHORT on facts." For what its worth.
