I was messing around looking at the San Luis Valley on google maps and then looked at Los Alamos. I spotted these giant air-conditioning units seemingly outside of the secure area. They are enormous and either service the whole complex or something else that has a large volume.
Thoughts?

If anyone has any experience with A.C units, specifically what volumes various units service, I'd be very interested in their opinion of the above pic. I know that individual buildings can have individual A.C units, or one big central unit can service a collection of buildings. From what I can remember of A.C units though, the ones in the above phot are enormous and must service a very large volume. If they are linked to the buildings above ground, the connecting pipes must be under the roads etc.

We have 10 huge fans. What volume of building would they be needed for?
