Predator Drone Over Ireland....

I might have put this thread into the wrong place but i was in B&Q in Limerick City Ireland today and i spotted a object the shape of the plane it was flying low enough so you can see it had no windows and no logo's it was completely smooth , wings completely straight , it was identical to a predator drone , as far as i know the irish army and police force doesn't possess one of these aircraft... i found it very strange, thought i'd share it with you guys .

Interesting. I couldn't imagine why they would be flying one of these around there. Anyone know if the UK has bought any of these?

I'm not sure if this has any connection but in 2006 my wife and I went to Dublin and as we got off the plane at Shannon Airport I was surprised to see a US Hercules plane sat at the far end of the runway. This was around the time there was a lot of news about "rendition" flights... but I would put it passed the UK to try and get hold of one. I live about an hours drive from Menwith Hill (you wont find it on a map but everyone knows it's there) and every now and then they get really jumpy for no apparent reason. The company I work for makes deliveries there on an almost daily basis so the drivers always know when something is going on...

Don't be surprised the US military has been stopping off in Shannon Airport on their way to Iraq and other places for years now. Rendition flights organised by the CIA also have come through Shannon. I don't live too far from the airport myself.
