Skilled Investigator
I've just finished reading Chris O'Brien's book about the subject which lead me to look up Bennewitzs' findings and I have two thoughts on the subject:

1 - Has anyone made an approach to Chris to make this into a film?

2 - Bennewitz was clearly an intelligent chap, yet he managed to fall hook, line & sinker for this one. Does anyone know if he ever thought to himself " Hang on, this all seems too good to be true? Surely the UASF is taking me for ride? "

Thoughts on a postcard please....

Sorry to say I have not yet read Chris' book, but I would like to.

One gets the impression that Bennewitz suffered from an innate and worsening psychiatric disorder that was played upon by the intelligence services for reasons about which we can only speculate. That's my take, anyway.

Yeah, I have read Bishop's book and it is quite good. Darn--I thought you meant Chris had written one about the Bennewitz affair also and now I'm a little disappointed.
