Project Starlight was a project ahead of its time. I don't discount what Ray Stanford accomplished. He did obtain recordings and measurements using various scientific instruments. Much more could have been accomplished. UFOs are elusive, and it's not easy assembling bulky equipment out in the field. Imagine what could be done with the technology that is available now! I would like to see the creation of a new Project Starlight.

What do you think the San Luis Valley Camera Project is? We also plan to have radar, magnetometers, gravitometers and accoustic recording equipment deployed. Projects Starlight and Hessdalen were the inspiration and Ray is a consultant to our effort that we envision as a boilerplate for other coordinated set-ups around the world.

I hope it is successful. I wasn't aware of the details. I hope the camera set up you have works out better than it did in Hessdalen.

I must admit that I am a bit jaded and bitter when it comes to Ray Stanford. I had access to 40 acres of land in an area with high UFO activity. He refused to let me become involved. He thought having them come there with equipment should be enough compensation. Oh well, such is life.
