If Hastings can answer this it would be great.

Regarding the high altitude test missile disabled by a UFO that Bob Jacobs talks about, can you eliminate the possibility of lightning?

Is it true this warhead/rocket had aluminum contents higher than normal? If so do you suppose lightning would strike if there was a storm?

I believe this account as genuine but I want to see your expert analysis since I have not yet read your book.

According to Jacobs, an actual object flies into the frame and paces the missile. The object fires a beam at the missile and disables it. So if Bob Jacob's testimony is accurate, there is really no possibility of lightning.

But look.

Unless its told that without a doubt that a rocket traveling fast that was full of aluminum into high altitude did not get some electrocharge, lighting, effects was not the cause of several lightning bolts then I am 50/50 on this. I believe Bob Jacobs when he says he saw a saucer, but we need to realize lighting can be several 4 or 5 beams of lightning are not out of ordinary to occur.

I think the weather report for this said night would be a telling find.

Hi CyberTrek,

My full report on the Big Sur UFO Incident is posted at my website, ufohastings.com, so you don't need to read my book to find the answer to your question.

However, long story short, the incident occurred some 475 nautical miles (nm) downrange and 200 nm in altitude, well above the weather-producing portion of the atmosphere.

Thanks for your question but please post future ones in the other "UFOs and Nukes" thread. I almost missed this one, not expecting that another thread would be created. I just don't have time to review lots of threads.

In the future, I will only be answering questions for me at the "UFOs and Nukes" thread, where I am automatically notified of any new entries.

Robert
