Chris, do you have any information about a Colorado Ranch in 1975 that had the same experiences as the skinwalker ranch. did you write about it in any of your books? Are there any experts on this case that the paracast could maybe bring on and explain what happened?

There was a series of posts on Earthfiles years ago that sounds a lot like what you described. It may have been an out-of-print book that was serialized on the site. It has been a long time since I've even looked at Earthfiles, but it seems like the case was well documented. It was pretty creepy, too. Seems like it was in Elbert County, or somewhere out on the plains east of Denver. Being from the Great Plains myself, the quotes and the reported behavior of the many participants seemed to ring true to me, for whatever that's worth. I'd like to know more about it, too.

I found this so far about it:
* Elbert County, Colorado, where one family encountered strange aircraft, numerous Bigfoot sightings, cattle mutilations, mysterious voices and encounters with humanoids and flying vehicles as well as a strange small box which "stole a tree"

Crazy reports there at that ranch. With so much activity, I wonder if the ranch owners didn't try to capture picture/video evidence.

I think they did, though it has been several years since I read the full report. The case went on for months or maybe even a couple of years, and I think competent investigators got involved while it was still active. I know there was considerable involvement of law enforcement from various agencies, so I'm sure there were at least some attempts at documentation though I don't recall seeing any photos.

Being the 70s, not everyone carried cameras around in their pockets. I didn't even own a camera at that time. When I went on a long trip in '78, I borrowed an old Brownie from my parents. Went down the the pharmacy and got some 620 film, I think it was. My vacation photos were less than stellar, but the old thing did work.

Anyway, the story I saw at Earthfiles was fairly long and detailed. If it's still there it's behind a pay wall, unfortunately.

I read the accounts written by Leo Sprinkle and remember thinking that the similarity to the Sherman ranch shenanigans was staggering. But this happened a full twenty years before Skinwalker.

Was it Colm Kelleher who hinted at there being several other sites in the continental U.S that had similar multi-phenomena goings-on? Also I believe Ted Phillips mentioned an area in Romania that is extremely active. I've not heard any real details of any of these other places and I wonder if maybe NIDS is involved in one or two, but having the experience of the cat being out of the bag before Bigelow could bring down the security lid on that one, with another case they might be successfully trying to study an active area without them having to be bothered with the likes of us asking for them to share some data?

Does anyone know of any currently active Skinwalker ranch-like area? I for one would love to know...

By the way researcher Tom Dongo was involved in the Bradshaw Ranch case and would be a great guest on the paracast as he saw the strange and bizarre occurrences first hand. I believe Chris would know how to get a hold of him as he is out of Arizona. Here is his website: Tom Dongo - UFO Alien Researcher | Tom Dongo UFO Paranormal Researcher
I've known Tom for 20 years and he is a reluctant radio show guest. I have asked him to be on the show many times and he always has an excuse not to come on. Maybe that's because he knows I'll dog him about him refusing to write down dates, times, direct quotes from witnesses, etc? I dunno, I suppose I could try again...

Just came across this today while looking for something else, and haven't had a lot of time to look at it, but here's a page with links to pdf scans of an APRO report on the Colorado ranch. It's in two parts and looks to be pretty thorough. Lots of other interesting looking stuff linked on this page, too.
