Danger....... Alien approaching.......:frown:

I used to pedal my bike home from elementary school as fast as I could after class. We were dismissed at 3:15 and 'Lost in Space' came on at 3:30. I had an Atari 'Space-Invader' bike with a speedometer and I'd press her over 20 mph to get home just in time to catch the opening credits. Loved that show.

Fans of the show may remember an episode with a giant hairy cyclops. I've read in conspiracy circles that it is the same body-suit in the Patterson/Gimlin film.

Oh my god that sounds awesome.

I always watched Lost In Space on Sundy mornins while we'as all gettin ready for church, on Ted Turner's Super Station 17, which was my favorite channel back when it was still independent. It had all KINDS of awesome OLD stuff on it.

Years later in my 30s I got the first couple of seasons of Lost In Space from Netflix and watched them several times with my then 6 year old son... we, back when I had more time, would watch things on the computer while we built model rockets together. We still watch things, but I am unable to do the model rockets right now. Presently on the ol 80s Buck Rogers via Hulu. I am very grateful that despite these old awesome shows no longer bein on the air, my son is still able to be turned onto them thanks to the web. It would have been a shame fer him to have to grow up with only todays shows available to him (he digs Rough Ruffman on PBS a lot, it's really good!) for stimulation and inpiration...

We have a pleasantly Pokemon and game system free home... other than an Atari 2600 and a starter chunk of games... I bought it fer him used from a family we know, and I much prefer the simple graphics with a focus towards filling the rest in with your imagination, and hand / eye coordination. Somethin in one of the cords is shortin and it doesn't work right now, but that's cool, because he spends almost ALL of his free time buildin elaborate structures with Legos... I am very proud of him... he's an awesome kid.

I am hopin that we will be able to watch the rest some day. Maybe we can find it on the web somewhere, but the ones that we have are enough that he can watch em several times and really sink into them. I know I would have had to see most episodes at least a couple of times myself, back when they were on perpetual rotation on The Super Station.

I've still got the 2600 kickin'. Modern video games make me have 'Rain Man' fits. I can kick some serious ass on Robotron, Missile Command, and Centipede though.
