OPALS

other websites discussed the OPALS piece but very few major news outlets, and many chimed in on rejecting it or were pro in terms of OPALS as the obvious answer. in trying to think practically about a red laser beam hitting the earth from the station it seems the first suspect would be the space station itself, despite the great temptation to think UFO.

but beyond this, thinking about the Black Knight Satellite, I think sometimes, we are often prone to just want to have extraordinary evidence of these characters up in our sky monitoring us, but it seems that this type of evidence remains elusive, or at least is held only in the few hardcore case examples that have multiple layers of evidence. in listening to commentators that have moved beyond the idea of an actual physical object from another planet coming to visit us I get the feeling that capturing evidence of those light beams will simply point back to a real human source - either scientific, imagined or confabulated.

that's what makes the Colares case so damn interesting.
