The usual disclaimer: If a thread has already begun on this topic, please immediately move this post to minimize evidence of my own stupidity.

The Rich Sarradet show is Most Excellent. Mr. Sarradet takes a broad view without being either flimsy or dogmatic. He is a seemingly well informed critical thinker-- both informative and entertaining. He speculates rather than asserts. Let's hope he will be a little less quiet in the future and share his thoughts with us again.

My only cognitive stumble was the Yakuza angle re Lazar. But considering the enigmatic nature of Mr. Lazar, it's all good.

Great show!

Gene and Chris, I just finished listening to your interview with Rich Sarradet. Great show! I told you he was going to be great!

I dont know why Rich hasnt been on here before but anyway good to hear him on the Big P. If peeps dont know you can listen to him on Don's show Dark Matters plus theres some stuff on Radio Misterioso too.

Bob Rocketman Lazer yakuza connection. The more anecdotes, the more he comes across as bait.

anyway excellent show. Good of Gene to prompt on some of the basics to set the picture and the back ground for some of the newer listeners.

Wow Gene and Chris, this sure was a keeper for me. Rich is exactly the kind of person we need in this field. To say i enjoyed this show would be an understatement. Rich has so many experiences in this field, both personal and investigatory and the guy is literally just in it for the love of the adventure. Hope you have him on a second time to talk more of his knowledge and delve into his own experiences as well as more of his background with Don Ecker and the heyday of Ufology. Refreshing to hear a guy with no web site, not selling any books or plugging products or TV shows or UFO tours, he's just dedicated to exploring the unknown. Thanks for a great show Rich!

Nice show (tanks Chris for forwarding my question to Richard!), as for Karla Turner I kinda feel left for some more as the show touched upon many other topics! How about Richard coming back another time for another one on Karla Turner? I know, I'm fussy  . I don't why, but this personn (Karla T.) have kind of fascinated me when I entered this crazy field of ufology a few years ago. Karla's stuff was one of the first things I came to read on the subject and her books stroke me as really fringy but were also a fascinating read. With her background, I tend to see her as a serious and sincere personn but with a real mystery about her abduction experiences, which makes me kind of hungry to learn more about her and her experiences.

It was a great show, but I was disappointed as it seemed to end just as it was getting really good. I'd love to hear Rich on the show again, there's more than enough material on Karla Turner alone that would make another good episode, not to mention other cases that he's investigated over the years.

I have to state that I also truly enjoyed this particular show. This and the recent Skin Walker episode have been my favorites since I started listening just a little while back. Come to think of it, Jerome Clark was none too bad either. Although I have been into UFOs for a good while now, I am very new to the whole internet radio thing. I can't believe the quality of dimension that it adds to this field of interest. The specific reason why I liked "the quiet, or not so quiet researcher" interview so much was the level of positive skeptical consideration that Rich exuded in concert with Gene and Chris. He remained grounded with respect to his key topic speculations, and yet at the same time, he was sincerely driven by means of his own inquisitive enthusiasm. The whole thing perpetuated quite nicely throughout IMO.

As just a minor editorial, I would add the following:

IMO, the very end was a little off. I mean this very respectfully, but it just kind of seemed like something a little too candid for open broadcast. In the internet forum world you will always have far too healthy a supply of buffoons and nitpicking nutters. Rather than waste a single second on these incontinent imbeciles, at all costs gentlemen, preserve the full and uninterrupted momentum of your incredibly cool show. Keep up the excellent work!

Great show. I enjoy Rich's insights on Don's show quite a bit so it was a treat to hear a full interview with the man. Would definitely love to hear him on the show again.
