Richard Wiseman: Paranormality

Free episodes:

I've had the exact experience he mentions, although I saw an "alien."
Good interview.

I reiterate, he would be great on the show.

I think so too, although I am weary of proponents of the psycho-social hypothesis(es) regarding AP. Not that I disagree entirely with the approach (as a tool for investigation), however I wouldn't throw all paranormal or anomalous phenomena into this bag a priori.

Interesting that he focuses primarily on claims regarding alleged human sourced paranormal events (ESP, telepathy, ghosts, etc). I have noticed that once the non-human awareness or sentience element is removed from a particular paranormal event, it suddenly loses its status of *paranormality* (to borrow the term) -- i.e. low hanging fruit.

He's concentrating on that because people are taken in by the so called "low hanging fruit."
