RIP..may be way 'too soon'.., but I hope we hear less about Roswell as well...(and in hindsight, I'm sorry for this comment, the man was a great one, my frustration for the whole sides still sitting on Roswell being the one and only, came through, sorry for that. )

No, I guess he passed on, but with him a lot of the Roswell story did as well. Good thing we heard all of it about 500 times by now...and again, I'm not tying anything to his name, I'm sorry for his family and friends..

I bought a signed copy of The Roswell Legacy after hearing his last Paracast interview. It was very noble of him to defend his father the way he did.

I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. Dr. Marcel was a guest on The Paracast and was always the gentleman, telling his story in a calm, compelling fashion. In reading Kevin Randle's eulogy, I was sad to note that Dr. Marcel had suffered from PTSD as the result of his service in Iraq. What a terrible price to pay.

I didn't see a thread for this, so here goes. Dr. Jesse Marcel Jr. passed away on Sunday August 25, 2013. He apparently died of a heart attack. He was 77 years old. Marcel Jr.s father was the first military officer at the scene of the Roswell UFO crash site. Marcel Jr. was shown metal debris by his father that bended and a metal bar that had hieroglyphics on it.
