Robbie Williams investigates with ATS!

Free episodes:

Really? he been the new Dan Hemroid for awhile now.

No, actually, I know so little of Rob, that I'm not dumping on him. He may be a swell guy for all I know. I doubt it, but perhaps thats my own cynical nature.

If you listen to the interview at the top of that thread he seems like a pretty reasonable person as far as UFOs go. Way more level headed than Aykroyd used to sound.

He comes across as just a dude that has had some experience that he cant explain.

K, that's what I thought. Thats why I haven't listened.

The akroyd bit, wasn't a comparison in logic, only a bit about how... wooo look a celebrity is talking about ufos.... lets pay attention. Dan, shitted on his face (claims about the psi factor, his x-files rip off show). I know why he has a cone head character now. W

What little I know, Rob is sincere, but brings nothing to the table. If he did, maybe I should listen eh? I've talked with several people who have and that's what I derive my conclusion on. According to my unnamed sources, the one in which I would be shot dead if I told you, Rob, is just like you. Exploring.

If one is in to has beens. Dwight Shultz is one to talk with. Well, at least he was. Ask Don ecker about him. They're friends. He's legit so far as I can tell. Legit interest and isn't a woo woo.

Robbie williams has alot of issues in his life that are due to depression and drugs, i believe that has some bearing on the fact of him turning to this phenomen, dont get me wrong it aint the only reason ,but i believe it has to be factored in to the equation.I have heard rumoured somewhere also that he had a sighting once, that also could be a reason for his interest:)

You are claiming that the reason RW is into the paranormal is because of drugs and depression?

No offence but that is just a fucking ridiculous thing to say.

It could be a factor, sometimes people can turn to stuff like this so to give there life some meaning . You might not Gsb, but someone else could. I didnt say it could be the reason i was merely stateing that it is possible it could be one of the reasons, you have to be open Gsb that all peoples attentions or reasons for being interested in this phenomen are different from me or you.

I agree with you, Irish. Paranormal stuff can attract people who've got some serious issues occasionally. For example, I've never known a drug-free, non-drinking, non-smoking pagan ! But probably somewhere there is one (maybe not in Texas though! :D)

Maybe things like drug use, depression and all the nasty stuff in life have a way of getting people to look at unorthodox pursuits. I don't know about Robbie Williams, maybe he'll bring some attention to the subject but won't bring any particular credibility.

HE is a famous pop star in Europe, who has sold millions of records. But recently in the last two years, he seems to have got sick of the limelight of the music industry.I dont think he will bring anything to this phenomen, but he is entitled as we do , to have his interest in this phenomen and good luck to him hope he finds answers that he needs.:)

Yeah, I remember him from TV when I was living in Europe in the late 90s. But I don't think he ever made a name for himself in the US market, so I doubt many people over here know a lick about him.

Wouldn't it be funny if his UFO stint is just a forerunner to a larger marketing campaign to break into the US charts? :p
(maybe I should spend more time in the conspiracy forums)

Doesnt take the press long:

We all know Robbie Williams is all about stalking UFOs at the moment - imagine how stoked he was when a UFO came to visit him in the recording studio recently! Or so he claims. The 34-year-old was quoted by The Sun as saying he'd just finished recording a track about UFOs when he had an extraterrestrial experience in his LA studio. "I had just finished writing a song called Arizona, which is about alien abduction, when there was this glow," he said. "It was magic." Robbie has now pledged to go jetskiing in search of UFOs he's heard have landed in the sea. Let's hope he finds his marbles first.

I read about this on ATS, and all I can think is: Who cares?

So some pop star is interested in ufo's. What's all the fuss about?
What is there about him that deserves such fanfare?

It's not like he has some astounding evidence or anything. He's just another guy with questions. I see no need to do an interview with him, as he has nothing tangible to add to the discussion, just guesses like the rest of us.
He doesn't have decades of research experience or inside knowledge, so what's the big deal?

I guess it's just a case of celebrity awe, and I use the word "celebrity" loosely, as I never even heard of him before the flap at ATS.

The attention follows him! However i think sometimes he comes across as being a little cuckoo. I think someone on a previous post mentioned he saw a alien in a studio' i may be wrong :)

It's also typical ATS where the most important elements are page views, click throughs, and getting to the top page of Google.

fame shmame, all i see is someone profoundly affected by his experiences, its bad enough having to process some of these experiences for an individual, but to have the paparazzi , complicate it by heaping ridicule on the individual while hes at it...... how unfortunate for him

at the end of the day hes still a person struggling with the same questions we all are
