Ron Paul Has the Council on Foreign Relations Worried

Free episodes:

I think if Americans, en masse, were to become educated and fully understand what the Fed has done this country there would be more than a few men in expensive suits swinging from lamp posts.

the majority of Americans think the "Fed" is a part of the Federal Government. check it out yourself, ask 10 people what the Federal Reserve is. My own bank representative thought the "Fed" was a Federal institution.

Ahhh the blissful sleep of ignorance.

Pfft... nothing worries the CFR. 'Cept maybe the Builderbergers but they cross-pollenate so often I doubt it.

some pundits were discussing this morning how they won't be surprised if the US dollar goes down to .62 Canadian, no idea how that would work out against the Euro!

but this is suggested to occur in a time period from now to less than 5 years. Do not remember how long it was thought it could last.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the dollar continues to plummet.

Pfft... nothing worries the CFR.

Exactly what I was going to say. "Pfft" really does cover it all. Why on earth would Ron Paul ... someone who has really done nothing except make a lot of money through those money bomb things during last years election ... and is a freemason to boot (see that handshake on some news prog if you can find it) worry the CFR.

If they were truly "worried" by him they would have framed him for something and bunged him in jail like they did with Jim Fabricant ... who has just been released after 7 years in jail.

Now he is someone who ruffled some feathers and didn't give a damn. Something that Ron Paul has never done.

I try to give Paul his due just because he has to work within a system he knows intimately. No sense in dying or going to jail if he can continue to plug away at corruption regardless that it does any good.

He's a true Libertarian though so don't be fooled by his switch to the Republican party. He's old enough now to know there will be no reform unless it's done within the Republican party. Libertarians will never have a shot in great numbers in the political system, mostly because their objective for a free market economy is flawed too and would greatly disrupt the system in place (which is failed lately.)

The guy will never touch the funds he raised for anything other than for what they were intended though. Paul is not a crook. He's dedicated to an ideal for which there is no meaningful support. I admire his tenacity.

what I don't understand is why folks don't sign up en masse in the party they most want to see change, and work from within?

They get to vote in their representatives, and those representatives that think the way they like, get to vote in the House, and so forth.

nah, guess that's too simple. :(

nah, guess that's too simple. :(

You're right, it is. I involved myself in the last election for the first time, went to caucuses & conventions and all that stuff. It's a knock down drag out nasty emotional process that just has you beating your head against the wall. I lost friends of many years. Party politics is almost 100% unfair. It's not about being reasonable and, as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with the 'democratic process'; it's all about power and intimidation. I'll never subject myself to that again. One time was enough.

It's not a federal agency as such, but with its board appointed by US Presidents it's hardly as independent and above politics as some would like to assert.

He who controls the currency of a nation controls the policy of that nation. Don't think it's the other way around.
