Roswell Debris Confirmed As Extraterrestrial: Lab Located, Scientists Named!

The UFO Chronicles
Good Day Forumerions!

This just in from Tony Bragalia:

"Newly discovered documents reveal that in the months immediately following the purported 1947 UFO crash at Roswell, secret government studies began on a material that was previously unknown to science. The "memory metal" that was studied precisely matches some of the debris material reported by several witnesses to the crash. Evidence shows that -under military direction- these unique metal studies were undertaken by a contracted laboratory that possessed advanced technical capabilities that the U.S. government itself did not have at the time. A former high-level scientist employed by the involved laboratory has offered a confession that he was tasked to study the crashed UFO material. Information provided by two U.S. Air Force Generals also offers direct support for this discovery."

The rest of the story . . .

Cheers,
Frank

While this is obviously a crucial development if it pans out, I'm concerned at some of the leaps of logic that are being asked of us.

To quote: "No references have ever been located to something that must surely exist- Battelle's "First Progress Report" on the memory metal. While the Second Progress Report (completed in 1949) refers to techniques to process the alloy, the First Progress Report (authored in 1947 or 1948) probably relates to the actual analysis of "Roswellian" memory metal.
"

That "the First Progress Report (authored in 1947 or 1948) probably relates to the actual analysis of "Roswellian" memory metal" is a case in point. How did we get a "probably" in there referring to the analysis of débris from an alien spacecraft, when the report might just as plausibly (some would say, um, more plausibly) refer to the purely terrestrial genesis of the research?
Is there not a danger here of a new, improved version of the MJ-12 scam removing yet more dedicated researchers from productive work, this time not by distributing readily falsifiable documents but by the perpetrators strategically removing real documents and thereby producing a false trail leading to a false mystery? (Yeah I know I'm being paranoid, but sometimes we have to be).
The second logical leap that disturbs me is this one: "Schulgen is describing precisely some of the very characteristics of Nitinol. Just like the Roswell debris material, it is an "extreme lightweight" intermetallic alloy. As a novel "composite construction," it is created by an "unusual fabrication" method that "uses a combination of metals"- perhaps like Titanium and Nickel." - this seems to me to be reaching. Schulgen is "describing precisely some of the very characteristics of"...not only Nitinol but arguably any unusual light-weight alloy. After all, the obvious feature of an alloy is that it "uses a combination of metals"...that's hardly worth commenting on.
Don't mistake me. I really, really hope there is something to this, and that the trail truly does lead somewhere worth going. But given what we've seen in the past it's essential that we make sure all of our duckies are lined up in a row (and none of them quack like, er, sparrows) and proceed with caution.

I will be the first to say that I'm not impressed by any of this. The Air Force was conducting metal research in the late forties. The Roswell crash, from which metal was allegedly recovered, may have occurred in the late forties. There is absolutely no reason to believe that the two events are correlated. And the witness? Some dead guy who allegedly reported to someone that he had worked on the project. This is just more of the same, old, tired nonsense.

lol

This is quite the coincidence. Just yesterday I went back the post on the Ufocon blog from a month or so ago and posted a comment asking how long it will be until we see this forthcoming evidence that "proves the ET nature of the Roswell event".

The UFO Iconoclast(s): AF ROSWELL STUDY CONTRIBUTOR ADMITS "IT WAS ET!" by Anthony Bragalia

(my comment down the bottom)

Lucky for me, I had to wait less than 24hrs!

Although Im far from convinced yet.

This confirmation is given in a brief footnote found in a study by one of Nitinol's "official" inventors at the U.S. Naval Lab. In that military report on Nitinol, the author footnotes a 1949 Battelle study which clearly pertains to the refinement of Titanium and Nickel. The citation relates to a "phase diagram" that examines states of matter and how the two metals could be successfully alloyed. If processed in the right way, the result is Nitinol memory metal. It is possible that the “official” co-inventors of Nitinol were unaware that the memory metal’s impetus was to be found in the study of the Roswell debris- or perhaps not.

Makes me think that the smoking gun is basically human inference.

I really want to believe the Roswell story, and that there was some sort of technological "profit" from it; however a "brief footnote found in a study" isn't a smoking gun, in my estimation.

Man has been studying metal and alloys since the bronze age. Alchemists tried to turn lead into gold. And metallurgists were trying to alloy Titanium and Nickel in the latter half of the 20th century.

I need more than a footnote to be convinced.

It is interesteing that a report footnoted the "Second Progress Report" and that report can not be found. The usage of the term "Second" implies a First. Afterall, this is how the NSA and CIA were forced to admit they had documents pertaining to UFO's after repeated denials. One document from the CIA would reference a report written by the NSA. Though, FOIA requests for that document came up negative. So from that angle it interests me.

BUT, as Kevin Daly has aptly shown the leaps of logic are pretty large. So is the hearsay recollections of "family". It has that "Well, now that you mention it... Grandpa did say he had studied alien metal before. We all knew it and kept quiet. But since you called we will go ahead and spill the beans." kind of B.S. sound. I could be off base, but by now you would think that this sort of story would have already surfaced. I dunno, maybe I am getting too pessimisitc about all this.

Despite some of the negative comments on the blog I actually do find this interesting. However I fear in in will fade away as we wait for the documents to be found, and we will never hear of it again.

Nick Redferns piece is worth a read too. He may have some insights.

Was kidding with the word "rant", was referring to the messages you write at the bottom of paracast newsletter emails. You mentioned it in a recent one. News to me.

I was gonna say, I don't think I've ever heard or seen Gene go on a Rantage (rant + rampage, copywriting that term due to awesomeness).

This whole story rings shockingly close to the American Computer Company fiasco and Jack Shulman that occurred in the late 90's. Not buyin' these tickets.

Aw, yes. Never before seen information of a remarkable nature.

But, wait, there's more. Details to come, stay tuned.

All details outlined in a new book. Be sure to buy it!

If things are so remarkable and important to mankind, just publish them on the web. No print. It costs nearly nothing. Post a PDF and enlighten the world without lining your pockets.

This whole thing is an ad campaign for the new book. One big webomercial.

Even if there is new, good information coming out, the fact that it is being marketed like ginsu knives taints it greatly.
