Roswell Undertaker's Secret Revealed

Free episodes:

You know, Glenn Dennis has always bothered me. I am not sure if he just spun a good yarn for decades and then started to believe it a bit. If you reherse the same story over 20 or 30 years, perhaps you cant separate truth from invention. Or, it is exactly as he has said. He gave a story and protected others by altering bits. Of course it very well could be a hybrid of these. I dunno.

But, I do know that because his story doesn'g jive, you gotta toss it in the BS Basket and move on. You can't cherry pick details.

Did you read the article? What do you make of the evidence that backs his credibility?

The problem is, cherry picking can go either way. For or against the case.

I don't know what to make of Glenn. I had been discounting his claims, but some of the details in favor of him in the article has me back scratching my head.

What needs to be done is someone needs to run these two nurses' names by Glenn. They are both dead if I remember correctly, so there's no need to protect them anymore. He should come clean. Hopefully this will get done before he dies. He won't be around much longer it seems.

Yeah. I notice a lot of people seem to want to share their part right before they die.....hopefully Glenn will!!!

I did read the article and I do see your argument. But, this isn't new data. It has been out there for a few years now.

I think part of it is actually covered in the book Witness to Roswell. I am going on memory in this part, but I believe that he was asked point blank about Eileen Fanton and his response was that he was not going to discuss it. Though, to be honest I cant remember who did the asking or where I heard/saw it. Sorry.

Anyway, I think the guy knows something, but he has to be discredited because of the many different versions and latitudes has has expressed/taken over the years. I think Friedman has even written him off. He says that he is a nice guy, but his story keeps springing leaks.

Some of it sounded familiar, but wasn't sure. I sent Stanton Friedman an e-mail about it. Haven't hear back from him yet.

Fascinating article. Its hard to know just where this guys head was at... he could easily have been using the story as leverage to make some money, or it could all be genuine.

I am actually a loose acquaintance of Kelly Abbott, Glenn's grandson. We met on a small private mailing list that was kind of a generalized IT nerd/graphic design/arts conversation. I had no idea he was related to Glenn until the day he posted this short film he made about his grandfather to the list:

Internet Archive: Details: Glenn Dennis Interview

Small world these days.

From what I know of Kelly I can say he is a very bright and technically capable guy. I take what he says about his grandfather to be as honest and accurate an account from his perspective as he was able to make.

I forwarded that article to him the other day and he said he would pass it on to his aunt and let her decide whether or not to run the names of Fanton and Bush by Glenn. If I hear anything back I'll let you all know.

Thanks.

It doesn't look like I'll be hearing back from Stanton, so glad you found this thread.

Wow! You might be the one who settles one of the biggest mysteries of the Roswell case. Make Stan Friedman jealous you will. Hmmph me Yoda.

ANYONE connected with the Roswell Museum (Paola Harris, Linda Howe, Schmitt etc.) should be IGNORED. THEY ARE ALL SHAREHOLDERS IN THE MUSEUM AND PROFIT FROM BS.

Let me put on my devils advocate hat on here.

I dont completely disagree with you. But, I am business savvy enough to know that money is money. Especially in the center of nowhere like Roswell.

My point is this, the museum is a business for entertainment not an information depot. Big names, regardless of the BS factor, draw attention and money. UFO conferences do this all the time. You can see Richard Dolan and the Evil Greer speak at the same venue, say a MUFON symposium. Should we immediately discount MUFON and Dolan for allowing themselves to be lumped in the same marketing material and sharing of the podium? Of course not.

Admittedly, conferences and symposiums are not big business, but I'll wager that the museum probably pulls in less than a single Dunkin Donuts in a given year.

Anyhow, all these people you mention are trash. Yet, Dennis Balthaser is a very good and level headed voice. He was intimately involved in the museum for years.

BUT... Hat comes off...

I too have to discount Glen's story. We have the same net result but for different reasons. My gut tells me that he is not intentionally trying to take the world for a ride, but his story is inconsistent over time and when called on it he conveniently has an answer. In all actuality I think he is trying to protect someone, but in doing so he has lost his crediblity in my eyes.

Glenn had his story well before his involvement with the museum. If you hold that against him, it's a slippery slope. What next, throw out Jesse Marcel Jr.'s account because he made a book and sold it?
