Paranormal Novice
Hello, im a new forum member from the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania. We are in the south western area of the state. I live about 50 miles outside of Pittsburgh. This is an old area with a rich history. It also seems to be a hot spot for Paranormal occurances. I work in the mountains for a coal company and have experienced several incounters with creatures. I have also seen many stange lights in the sky. This area also has a history of hautings. I listen to the paracast and several other paranormal shows. Art Bell realy got me intersted in the late 1990's and ive been hooked on paranormal broadcasts since then.

Welcome to the forum. I've just looked up "sheepsquatch", because I've never heard of such a thing. Interesting. I remember a documentary about extinct predators where they had a CGI animated sheeplike predator. There obviously was a distant carnivorous ancestor of today's sheep who would rather hunt other animals instead of just standing around, looking sheepish and chewing grass. Unfortunately, I couldn't google it. I guess predators like these wouldn't escape us nowadays, though. If I remember the documentary correctly, they were much bigger than our sheep.

Please share in the experiences forum. Be warned though, lights in the sky will usually be shrugged off. But if you have watched them doing strange things (circling each other, separating and merging, right angle turns, zooming off and reappearing) over long periods of time so that you had time enough to exclude things like airplanes, helicopters, meteors etc., I'd surely like to hear about it.

Thank you for the info. I will be sure to add more descriptions when posting in the future. The sheepsquatch stories i have heard originated in southern WV. I have several friends and coworkers that have had experiences or heard the local tales of a large sheep like creature. Most of the stories are from the Madison, WV area. The Sheepsquatch is all white and is the size of a large bear. The tales of him terrorizing the locals in the mid to late 1990's are well documented. In the last 5-6 years the activity has picked up in surrounding areas. One event that was relayed to me happened on a small farm just outside of Madison. Chickens, cats, and some small dogs had dissappeared in the summer of 2010. The elderly woman that lived on the property decided to stay up and keep watch on the hen house thinking this was a coyote or other predator. She instead witnessed a massive white beast enter the hen house on two legs and grab 2-3 chickens with its big bear like paws. It then left the area running at full speed on four legs with the chickens in its sharp jaws. This story and ones like it really interest me. When I am alone in the dense Pennsylvania woods I often think anything could be out there.
