Well there you go. Syncronicities are hitting me left, right and centre at the moment. I've just finished reading (Tau) Allen Greenfield's "Secret Cipher of The Ufonauts", and the sequel "Secret Rituals of The Men in Black", and what do you know??? ... dB mentions TAG and his "prediction" using the "secret cipher" on the latest episode/epi-pod/whatever you want to call it.

Anyway, I've decided to play around with the cipher a bit and see what pops up. I've written a very small Basic programme which allows me to enter words, and pops out the numbers produced by the cipher.

For example:

You put in the word "ORTHON" (one of George Adamski's contacts from Venus)

Using the cipher: O=7, R=12, T=24, H=4, O=7 and N=14

Add the numbers together: 7+12+24+4+7+14 ... and you get ... 68.

Now if TAG's idea that this cipher has been used for a long time by his "ufonauts" ... well you should or feasibly could see strange things pop up ... such as the same number might pop up etc etc etc.. (I assume ... since to me, a newcomer to this topic this magick stuff is really weird :D)

I'm pretty certain that I won't get anything (and honestly trying not to bias things too much) ... but you never know - there might be something to it ... or of course nothing whatsoever :p.

All I need now is a list of contactees, their contacts and the planets said contacts are said to originate from. They all seem to be (as TAG himself says) rather silly or odd (such as the still mysterious "Indrid Cold") ... and so there may (or may not be) some sort of hidden link between these names ... something which tells us more about the aliens/ufonauts.

So ... if anyone has any names I can try out please feel free to throw them my way. I'll build a little database of contactees, their "contacts" etc and see what happens.

Also, I think Allen Greenfield has also thrown things like "MOTHMAN", "SILVERBRIDGE" etc at the cipher as well ... so anything unusual may be fair game for the cipher.

Oh, just for fun, I've thrown PARACAST at the cipher, and it came out with 83 ... which when the two numbers 8 and 3 are added together (which apparently can provide further insight into ... things :D), you get the number 11 ... which is incredibly important in the world of magick ... apparently!! ... so there.

Many thanks in advance ... schtick [5+13+4+24+23+13+9 = 91 ... damn ... 1 away from greatness :D]

Schticknz~ often in numerology, the final number (if double digits) will be added together to reduce it to a since number: your Paracast 11=1+1=2...try that method too and see if you get anything interesting!

In numerology, 11 was the number of beauty, where 2 is its counterpart of evil.

My lucky number is 4. I'm okay with that.

I've had an experience with a mantid type being. Using Greenfield's cipher it's name adds to 138. A while back I was awoken by an electronic voice saying "So use...one...two." This phrase also adds to 138. Then I look in the back of Crowley's 777 where all the Qabalistic correspondences are indexed and find that 138 is the number of the Hebrew word 'Bin Alhim,' which means "Of God" and is synonymous with Elohim. Also the individual letters of the name can be rearranged annagrammatically to form the numbers of the pi series. Quite a coincidence. I also had a very profoundly 'real' lucid dream in which I met a tiny woman named Heilen who flew around in what looked like a tetrahedral box-kit made of mylar. That name adds to 93. Any one who has perused Thelemic literature will be familiar with the significance of that number. As if numerical coincidences had any real significance.

double the evil of other Tommy Allisons....:p

FINALLY, someone acknowledges my villainy.

My cat peed all over my fleece pullover last night. My cat is the only thing more evil in this world than I am, and her name is Darth.

What happens if you throw 'Majestic' at it? Do you get the number 12?

You're not going to believe this :D You get the number 128 ... which when added together gives you ... drum roll please ... drrrrrmmmm tsschhh ... 11!!!

And seeing this, I thought I would throw at a few words that are kind of associated with MAJESTIC

So ... MAJIC throws out 74, and just for fun ... MAJICK gives you 83 ... both give you 11 ... when they digits are added together!!!

Kind of interesting :p

Thanks. Yep, I'm now aware that adding the numbers together is used ... so I'm looking at that as well. In my previous message, I came across a few 2s ... I'm not entirely certain if this means anything yet though since I've not thrown that many words at it as of yet. So ... only time will tell :D. Anyway thanks for the heads up :)

I tried putting MANTID into my wee program, and it came out with 89. What phrase or combination of words was used in regard to the mantid type alien??? The things I've tried such as MANTIDALIEN or MANTIDTYPE come out with 154 and 179 respectively. Would be interesting to know what the exact wording (?) was ...

But HEILEN definitely came out as 93 as you say! Oh and just for fun, I tried putting in LAM and AIWASS ... two of Crowley's contacts ... and LAM came out as 24 and AIWASS came out as 38.

The AIWASS one is particularly interesting since Crowley had the Book of the Law dictated to him by this otherworldly being ... and the cipher was found using a page from the same Book.

[Although this last bit in a way may be self-prophesying???]

FINALLY, someone acknowledges my villainy.

My cat peed all over my fleece pullover last night. My cat is the only thing more evil in this world than I am, and her name is Darth.

And using the cipher, I learn that DARTH is ... another drum roll please ... 11 !!!! And DARTHVADER is 101 ... or ... 2!!!!!

Its the cats I tell you ... its the CATS!!! [CAT = 38 ... = 11 !!!] :D

Um, realistically...have any of you seriously given any thought to how this could possibly mean anything at all?
If we , in English (well, sort of) give the name "Mantid" (recently) to something, how can any numerological system credibly reveal anything at all based on that name, which is after all simply a variation of a local word for a kind of insect borrowed ultimately from a Greek word that meant something like "seer", "foretune teller" or "prophet". There is no intrinsic connection between the word "mantid" and the entity to which you apply it (as is true of all words of course), so what can assigning numeric values to the letters or any combination thereof possibly tell you?

It's a fun parlour game, but really all you're doing is seeing faces in the knots in the wood.

Her full name is Darth Kitteous.

well...while my head has occasionally felt like that...it really looks nothing like me...I have more piercings, for starters! hehe

that kooky Crowley....he should've cut back on the absinthe

Oh I realise that :D ... but I thought I would play around with it anyway. Sometimes its worth playing around with such things just to see if there really is something going on ... or just to scratch another "weird" thing off my list of weird things :p.
