He promises to reveal "extraordinary NEW information including images from NASA's recent un-manned Lunar mission LCROSS," that verifies his startling conclusion that there are definite links between NASA, the Moon and "potential geophysical Hazards" that Planet Earth could face in... 2012"!! And that's not all... Hoagland promises that this unedited workshop will also include: "explicit, first-time official government documentation, discovered by Hoagland this past summer, revealing exactly 'who' ultimately ordered President John F Kennedy assassinated in 1963."

And if this were not enough reason to come, Dr. Steven GREER has just promised to discuss his recent overtures to President Barak Obama regarding Disclosure of Alien Contacts - an issue Beltway scuttlebutt says President Obama wants to reveal perhaps as early as December, after his Health Care bill is signed. [LOL]
 
Inasmuch as the earliest that health care bill could be signed, if all the stars align properly, is late December, I suppose Greer will have to wait for 2010. Then he can deliver another excuse when it doesn't happen.

How much would you like to bet that Hoagland's talk will plagiarize Kenn Thomas' excellent book NASA, NAZIS, and JFK—released 12 years ago by Adventure's Unlimited Press ISBN: 0-932813-39-9

"This book emphasizes the link between "Operation Paper Clip" Nazi scientists working for NASA, the assassination of JFK, and the secret Nevada air base Area 51. The Torbitt Document also talks about the roles played in the assassination by Division Five of the FBI, the Defense Industrial Security Command (DISC), the Las Vegas mob, and the shadow corporate entities Permindex and Centro-Mondiale Commerciale. The Torbitt Document claims that the same players planned the 1962 assassination attempt on Charles de Gaul, who ultimately pulled out of NATO because he traced the "Assassination Cabal" to Permindex in Switzerland and to NATO headquarters in Brussels. The Torbitt Document paints a dark picture of NASA, the military industrial complex, and the connections to Mercury, Nevada which headquarters the "secret space program."

As I've asked before what is the best thing to do with such nonsense??

Should we completely ignore and therefore not waste any energy or time on it OR attack it with vigor and expose it's stupidness?? Ignoring it completely puts innocent and ignorant people at risk of digesting this crap and believing it (so what, ... too bad for them, they will eventually figure it out) On the other hand, attacking it helps those vulnerable to such crap (and helps more people divide signal and noise), but puts you further away from true understanding of the topic by wasting your time doing community service.

Is it better to serve as a community BS detector/alarm or an investigator of more compelling truths?? I wonder which is more worthy. I suppose it may depend on what one would like to get out of the topic (a more widespread awareness of the signal to noise ratio or a personal growth via accumulation of "truth")

I've always looked at these people and their ego-centered cults of personality as perfect comedic fodder—it must be my Trickster side, or something. *grin*
Pointing at the goose-stepping Emperors on parade is all fine and good, but running up on them and giving them a good kick in the shins while asking them who their tailor is, works even better. IMO, ignoring the emperor's preposterous pomposity only encourages them to continue bamboozling their true-believer worshippers. Somebody has to cover their indecent exposure with the cloak of rational thinking.

Yeah. The thing though of course is that you aren't going to change the mind of the ardent believers however sound your argument is. They will completely ignore it or launch a counter anti-think attack.

Hopefully the shin kicks warn the innocent "just thought I'd look into the topic" people. Even knowing a little bit about the topic I sometimes find it difficult to wade through. And a lot of times I wonder why I even should at all.
 
I found Hoaglands Moon and Mars lectures filmed years ago really interesting as well as thought provoking. But since he has started talking about hyper-dimensional physics, I have started to scratch my noggin.
 
I guess that does it as far as anything at all interesting happening when the Mayan calendar "abruptly ends." If Hoagie is predicting it, we know how it will turn out. :D
 
I don't follow Hoagland around because he's nuts, but I find him delightfully nuts in a way. The guy should be writing sci-fi or at least having a ghost writer do it for him. His ideas aren't that far out, sure, but I think he'd have more success if he sold his junk as fiction.

But he's the happiest nut I've ever heard.

I doubt that. I've seen a couple of movies from the Syfy channel that seemed to have been heavily influenced by (if not wholly lifted from) Hoagland's work. They weren't good.

Where's the grassy knoll when you need it??? Permindex ... hmm that had ties to Israel ... as did a lot of other things that aren't mentioned by any of these researchers. Oh well ... it must have been the Nazis then :D
