I hope Gene won’t mind if I do a shout out to everyone in NZ about this.
The Pink Floyd show I play guitar for is about to start doing its 2010 to 2011 season with a show in Christchurch NZ. This is the first of a number that will be done over the next year so if you are into Floyd then come along. As this is the first show of the year we tend to do the ticket sales at cost price (no profit just wages for crew and gear costs) but it is a small venue so the limit is around 450 people which makes for a nice intimate show. Scary thing is we run our full stage show so it can get a little intense with the lighting and special effects in a small venue but it is well worth it.
PS: the next public show after this one will not be for a number of months and not in Christchurch again until next year I believe.

Oh I should have said that we are doing all of the "album wish you were here"
over the night which means you will get to hear all parts to "Shine on", that is all 9 parts which I am not sure anyone other than floyd has ever done.
