Gene and Folks: I have searched for an intro forum, without luck....So I will post this here and let the moderators move it if necessary.......

I have an interest in this forums' subjects, but require some evidence. I was trained by Jesuits in Grade School in logic and polemics--a Catholic School for sure....("Miriable dictu, eh Fadder...")

I did two tours of duty in Vietnam as an Army Aviator, I have lots of hours in Helicopters and Fixed Wing Aircraft....Some time I will relate some experiences, but not here today.

At Ft Hood TX, in 1968, I got stuck with duty guarding LBJ. I got the briefing on JFK, since this is over 40 years, sometime I will relate the "story-legend-sheepdip" that we heard there on this perennial favorite of the Conspiracy Buffs....

I now collect Railroad retirement and do part time work as a gunsmith....I was, for 20 years a Railroad Tower Operator, a now extinct job...with lots of time on the midnight shift and not much going by outside, I read many books.....

I hate totalitarian politics, socialists, progressives and other politicos with psycho-sexual abberations who think they are qualified to be in charge....I will be glad to post the list of traits that define these aberations sometime...(First: "Every sort of depravity, conscious as well as unconscious...")

I have no use for political correctness, or any other half baked "joint social emulation" disease.

Do not try to feed me any "Weltwaermung Luege" Ecology used to be called the "German Disease" for good reason....

I am sorry if this is too much for anyone, but when you get older, you get tired of excess verbiage..

And yet another reference to politics on the paracast forums.:( One thing that is inescapable is that leftists farrrrrrr outweigh righties on boards like this. I find that very interesting because according to statistics I've seen app. 40% of America is made up of left-leaning people, 40% right-leaning people, and 20% squarely in the middle (And it is this 20% that tend to decide the outcome of national elections.). However, these numbers are not equally distributed. Leftists far outweigh righties in large metropolitan areas and righties dramatically outweigh lefties in rural areas. Yet in the UFO/paranormal community it often seems to me like it is 95% to the left, 1% to the right, and 4% in the middle. That's almost certainly exaggerated but personal experience tells me that it can't be too far off. It's an enduring mystery to me as to why this is the case. I believe that a study of this anomaly might actually shed some light on the UFO subject.

Wickerman: I have noted that in the area of the paranormal, "res ipse loquatur" ....People who still adhere to philosophies that are discredited or obviously irrational, tend to "foam at the mouth" when discussing this sort of subject as well. It is in my opinion; an epistemologiacal defect or deficit that is hard to correct....No amount of proof or logic satisfies a "True Believer", logic does not exist in their particular Weltanshauung......Without regard to the label attached to the subject, logic is logic, here or on Zeta Reticulii.....
