Skepticism

Free episodes:

Sounds great in theory. Ironically I think alot of sceptics start to believe in scepticisim. Based on this fellow's descripion of sceptisim I believe I'm a sceptic. As much as some people would like to approach everything sceptically I believe belief is a neccessary and useful part of the human condition.

I can't prove the following but I believe belief is neccesary even in such regard as 'I believe I will wake up tommorow; therefore, I will wake up' Belief, I believe, activates a part of our brain that empowers us to do things that we would normally either be unwilling or unable to do. In business or goal setting having a burning desire and coupling it with belief, even faith that one will achieve something makes the road alot less bumpy than if one was to question every pot hole on that road. In conclusion it my surmise is that belief/faith is naturally neutral and whatever one does with it good or evil is the result of freedom of choice we posses as humans. I don't know if that was a coherent thought or not but its late and I'm tired. :)

I think it was Voltaire that said 'If there were no God, it would be necessary to invent him'
