Has anybody watched the movie? As a person who read the book I have mixed feelings about it - it is spooky and they did pick up several points from the things described in the book, but on the other hand - the story has gotten an extra chill from getting people killed, adding aliens and the ship. Unfortunately the wish to make sure the movie will bring profit forcing people to invent things and not simply portray the events as they are described in the book. It's a pity.
