Certainly a strange looking thing. Sure, it must be fake but a pretty creepy looking one.

What I do find strange are people who now swear they have seen him for real ... Have we made a Tulpa?

Makes me wonder if something similar is happening with Greys, Reptilians, Nordics, and so forth. I can't say I buy the whole tulpa thing, the strange monk story sounds like so much b.s. to me, but you have to wonder if the idea of the slim man hasn't become lodged in wrong heads. If you know what I mean.

Yeah good old /b/ a good 90% of the memes we see on the internet have their birth in some form there.
Hell take lol cats for an example it spawned "can I haz cheezburger .com" and yes it all stated on 4chan.

But for those that have never been to the chan my advice is don't it is a cesspit and always has been and always will be even after a number of clean ups and clear outs.. That is its charm not for the easy offended and faint of heart, or in fact the gullible and non computer or internet security savvy. The place is broken down into many boards these days, /g/ (technology) or /x/ (paranormal) and maybe /int/(international) for a laugh is where I will go from time to time but as for /b/ no it is just awful and /pol/ is a racist shit pit full of trolls.
