I found this article interesting being that Ebola (& snakes) is starting to make it's way into the news again, I chose to gloss over the snake in bed thing, but hey it is san francisco.

Let us hope that neither the marburg and ebola virus ever takes the opportunity to become airborne pathogens, nor that some well funded covert black ops lab try to jump start things by trying to make them become so (airborne).
But perhaps I've spoken too soon, in remembering the beginning passage from richard prestons excellent book "The Hot Zone" on a whim I googled "ebola" and "cattle mutilations" as I and got this hit
