There will probably be a lot of mice with ugly scars like the one on my foot. Based on my experience they are nasty boogers.

There's really no indication the spider bite cured him at all. It's just that the spider bite sent him to the hospital where someone noticed his leg twitch and acted upon it. From the article, anyway, there is no correlation between the two.

I've been told homeopathic remedies rely upon treating a condition with something that mimics the condition.
If the spider venom had something to do with the nerves being activated, then it makes for very interesting possibilities!
