I like Stan. I don't 100% agree with a lot of his presumptions of the Extra-Terrestrial Hypothesis though. And I do think a lot of his interview are pretty similar. One of the good guys though.
 
I put on his lecture here, and had the opportunity to have lunch with him.

Not just a nice guy, but thoughtful, patient, interested, and brimming over with intelligence. Also, able to see other points of view very well.

And he has a pretty good sense of humor despite his canned-sounding laugh.

Considering he could have gone into about any field he'd wanted to after working on nuclear propulsion rockets for space travel--he followed his heart, and for a scientist, that's pretty cool.

His lectures used to be dry, and he's become a lot less stodgy over the years. He still repeats himself beyond all reason, and goes through the same information time after time, but he's kicked out more books and forwards to books in his latter career as a UFO investigator than he did in the beginning.

I am definitely a fan. He has a brilliant mind, and the heart of an explorer.
