so apparently the speculation is this john harriman character MAY have a connection to khan. Which is interesting because this should mean that kirk shouldn't have a clue who khan is or why he has it in for him as they are not due to meet for another 20 years or so, but then again we did have a space time conundrum courtesy of that rogue romulan Nero n the last movie. Come to think of it wasn't the ending suggestive that something was out of sorts with spock prime occupying the same reality as young spock?

IF there is a khan connection, the roddenberry estate should hire george lucas to edit the original star trek series episode so that both characters act as this was the second time they met.
 
A Kahn connection would be better then Kahn himself. I'm thinking that the gorgeous blond in the trailer is supposed to be the women who married Kahn in the original series.

Apparently it will be the future carol marcus who invented the project genesis from the wrath of khan, one of the reasons why everyone is thinking about a khan connection.
