Hi there.
Last night I saw the brilliant physicist, Stephen Hawking, give a lecture on the importance of human space travel. He was just amazing, and really funny. He came out to the music of Also Sprach Zarathustra and The Blue Danube (most famous from 2001: A Space Odyssey) and had a Barack Obama sticker on the back of his wheelchair that said "Yes We Did".
Lots of interesting information was discussed. One very cool new thing was that just a few weeks ago in February 2009 they noticed water droplets/condensation on the legs of the Mars Phoenix Lander.
Well, at one point he talks about the possibility of extra-terrestrial visitation to the Earth. He points out that IF aliens are coming here to communicate with us or teach us or help us then they aren't doing a very good job of since they only seem to communicate with people that appear to be nuts. And while he is discussing this he has the Billy Meier "I Want To Believe" photograph on the screen.
That brought an additional smile to an evening full of smiles.
