Steven Greer on Art Bell Sunday

Paranormal Adept
Yep Art Bell will be hosting an interview this Sunday with Greer. This could be a chance to get through with no screeners and ask the guy where the hell all his evidence for aliens, free energy is. Why every flipping story here tells us about "inside sources" never come to fruition.

Anyways i hope some of use will try to get through to challenge this guy on all his claims.

Frankly, I've heard from several sources that Greer is really buff, a rather hot muscleman. Being a doctor, I guess if he needed any "enhancement" medications, this would not be a problem, but I make NO accusations.

Anyway, I think Greer could make even more money for Steve Bassett and other conference promoters who book him, if he'd branch out to another audience. This audience would be the body building set; those who enjoy looking at a well built man (I see such shows on cable TV and the audience is just howling with excitement at one bulking poser after another).

So, Greer should do his ufo related talks wearing ONLY a little modesty pouch, and go through standard body building positions on stage, while wearing a portable mike. In addition to his routine Space Brothers cult following, he'd bring in the "male body beautiful" crowd, and become a major celebrity in both fields.

I am glad Greer has a beautiful muscular body, since I do think the pre-chosen Earth embassador to the Space Brothers should be really hot, since he represents the rest of us. No Woody Allen types, please!

Nothing wrong with some GH and Testosterone. Keeps a man healthy and vibrant. Not everyone wants to get old and fat and frail. Giving men over 40 anabolics is no different than giving post menopausal women estrogen compounds. Restoring hormal levels to youthful levels is a good thing, not a bad thing.

Whatever.....::) I believe it is against the law to prescribe steroids for bulk muscle development, and that is what I was referring to. You do realize my entire comment was a jest? I am realizing that people here are so damn literal minded at times. Maybe this is NOT the place to joke around, and if so, I apologize. My comments were not to be interpreted as my political stand on male hormone replacement!?!?! I was just rifting off of Greer's perceived male vanity since he's basically a kooky guy who takes himself extremely seriously.

Obviously you were joking around. I'm not offended. I've heard far worse leveled at a sport that I follow and participate in, which is no big deal in and of itself. I'm no cry baby, but I do find it ironic that people get offended by people teasing them about one thing, then then they turn around and tease other people about something else.

UfO believers get bent out of shape when people laugh at them for being nuts because they feel the general public doesn't know anything about it, and are woefully uniformed. You were doing the same thing, but just applying onto another subject. I am extremely knowledeable about the subject of performance enhancing drugs and strength sports, so when I see people pass on misconceptions I often point it out. Just like people here point of misconceptions about the paranormal when they see them. The idea being that the more you educate people, the more your own personal pet causes will be accepted by the world at large. For some, its UFOS, gay rights, global warming, etc. For me it's the FDAs screwed up regulation of the drug and suppliment industry.

I'm all for the freedom to mock people at will, I just cracks me up when people think they can decide what is, and is on, off limits for someone else, be it sexual preferance, race, gender, religous beliefs etc.

I see it all the time, especially here. "How dare you mock me for my beliefs in weird shit that the rest of the world laughs at.. but those stupid Christians are something else..." or "Wow I had this weird supernatural experience, let me tell you about.. but no way am I crazy like that other guy is!"

By all means, feel free to laugh at bodybuilders, and I will feel free to laugh at "believers" ;)

I have been listening to this on and off throughout the day. I have not reached the listener call-in segment yet. Man this guy seems to be quite the expert, gives briefings to all sorts of high level people.

I think everyone is impressed the first time they hear Greer speak (I know I was) - then you do some (armchair / internet) research and realise that he's been saying the same things (almost word for word) for the last 10 years.

That isn't to say that the Disclosure Project isn't without merit - it's just that Greer seems to have thrown himself into the realm of 'the space brothers', which is certainly bothering the 'serious' UFO people a great deal and damaging the credibility of the few strong witnesses associated with the project...

...I suggest you dig out the two Paracast interviews with Greer - they're on the Paracast home page. I expect (though, I might be wrong), you'll find Greer saying the exact same things as he's about to say/has said on the Art Bell show...okay, perhaps he's moved his story along a little. But probably not by much.

He has indeed been saying the same thing for over a decade. He milks "The Old Country Doctor" bit like a champ. It is my opinion that he's a pathological liar to be honest—you know when you now someone is BSing you—it just oozes from this guy. My friend and I went to one of his "sessions" under the Space Needle in Seattle back in 1999. Later we went out shining flashlights into the sky, chanting, meditating. Seatac Airport was off in the distance so naturally every frickin' light was an envoy from some bird planet sending us good vibes. Real screwed up stuff. Also, he name drops—just without the names—constantly. He uses the same big words over and over and over. He gives me the creeps. On a sidenote, think he wears that cologne called "Sex Panther". :P

Here's my favorite re Greer (though no doubt it's a part of the coverup):

For once in this field I oddly have no trouble believing this particular "official pronouncement" is nothing but honest.

I was too really impressed with Greer the first time I heard him. He sounded really credible and passionate about the whole disclosure subject. I was even pondering giving them a donation. As time went on and all the subsequent times that I heard him I began to realize that he pretty much tells the same story over and over again and rarely if ever contributes anything new. He often likes to make claims that can never be proven and often times are plain ridiculous. I can pretty much tell without listening to the interview how it's going to proceed and frankly I can no longer tolerate any of the BS that is coming out of this man's mouth.

Has anyone on this forum taken(and want to admit it) his week long rip-off class? I was just wondering what his "protocal" for calling in the ships thing was all about.

I have a couple of friends who are at the Science and Consciousness conference in Santa Fe, NM. He is a keynote speaker. They are going to check out his workshop to try to get an idea WTF he is about.

I also thought he was wonderful the first time I heard him speak. The last time I heard him speak was a few years ago at the Santa Fe conference. He only had a few months to live...OH poooor me. That did it for me.

That is another 'bone of contention' - attendees have to sign a legally binding non-disclosure agreement (oh, the irony) that prevents them from discussing the details of the workshop / class / experience / whatever...

WOW, I had no idea it was THAT bad. Don't you think that would be a red flag for most people?

Yes, he's pretty bad.

I think it's about time a group of serious people banded together and tried to wipe out this non-sense from the scene. From the ashes perhaps we could start some serious initiatives. It could be as simple as attending some conferences and calling out these people on their BS. Who knows...

My short list includes:
Steve Greer
Linda M. Howe
Whitley Strieber ( perhaps he deserves a bit more repect—but to be honest he lost all cred with me when he claimed to see a "drone" ) He just always has to wedge himself in the topic of the day doesn't he.

Did Salla & Webre talk about jacques Vallee at all or did that get quashed for Greer?

By the way, from the ad for Greer's meditation CD, which can be bought here:

http://www.disclosureproject.org/mantracd.htm

"Steven M. Greer MD, widely regarded as one of the true leaders in the science of consciousness, has shared in these two CDs the complete understanding of how to attain higher states of awareness through meditation."

I'm ordering mine today!

Greer thinks bugs are et craft.

I want to see him levitate.

Thanks for mentioning the alien baby. I'm surprised I forgot about that one.

Greer got bit with a woo woo bug or 3 many years ago. Either that, or maybe he's just a con. Or both? Not sure.
