Strange Lights Over Colorado ---Fox, ABC News

Free episodes:

Didn't we just see lights like this in another video just a couple of weeks ago?
Does anyone remember which thread it was?

CHRISTOPHER OBRIEN CAN YOU CHECK AND SEE IF YOU WERE ABLE TO CATCH THIS ON YOUR VIDEO ARRRAY?
The event occurred over 100 miles north of the SLV and was probably fairly mundane. Our regional cameras on mtntops above 11,000 feet is a phase two, triangulated array that needs significant funding
before it can be installed and functional. The northern proposed camera may have been able to pick up the event as it traveled to the SE down the front Range if it had been above around 20-30K feet. if it had been operational.
Having Flight Aware running would have determined whether the flight(s) were transponded, etc...

The short, compressed video of the three red lights shows what appear to be three separate objects flying in a loose formation "SW to SE". They do not appear to be obvious video artifacts or reflections or manipulated.
Going with the assumption that this was truly a group of lights on aerial object(s), without knowing the object(s) altitude/size/speed we can't determine if they were huge objects so high that they were reflecting the sun that had set in the west, or smaller objects flying self illuminated at a lower altitude. We also need to know which light appeared to extinguish first and what subsequently happened after that, etc. I'm sure MUFON will do a decent job establishing the details of the case...

Sorry for being utterly dismissive at first, watched all the news footage now..

Thanks Ward, tar and feather me, but this somewhat actually looks like those damn chinese lanterns to me (any Idea how the wind speed was at the time ?) ...better explanation then swampgas at least..
