Very strange pics. Those are the oddest dunes I have ever seen, it looks like they are actually tents or some other covered structure.
How were dunes like that formed to begin with? I have seen some very unique and oddly shaped dunes here on earth,..... but those Martian ones are pretty bizarrely shaped.
And if they are dunes, which would be wind blown sand (?), ...blown in particle by particle,...yes?,...why would they contain a frozen CO2 slab?
And the black spiders would be, ....what?...minerals precipitating out of the geysering CO2? Remember, CO2 is only a gas or a frozen solid, it does not occur in a liquid state.
The simplest explanation would be some sort of sun bathing life form if it were here on earth. Mars?....?
