Alright then, whats the most reasonable course of getting the information to the public. Because if you tell them too much then you're accused of being a fear monger. But if you tell them too little, then you are being somewhat negligent.

 

The case is that this strain is spreading. It has killed some people. We don't know a lot about it. Viruses mutate quickly, especially in the presence of other flu viruses. Are we just to assume that some mutant virus couldn't come in and wipe out any number of people?? I've read that of the 30,000+ people that die of the flu each year, most of them are already in some compromised health condition already. Are we to believe that we are always just fine and that we never have any reason worry?? Or is there the possibility that a small virus could do serious damage due to our negligence and ignorance of the issue?? I don't know what may happen, but here is the real question:

 

What would be the optimal way of reporting such an outbreak?? We don't want the pouridge too hot or too cold. What is "just right"??
