Tanks Moving East?

This has always interested me. I know that sometimes coincidences occur where something looks like a conspiracy, but with oil the way it is, the serious quake in Japan, the upheavals in the Middle East, and all the other calamities erupting, I'd thought I'd post it nonetheless:

Where was this shot? When?

Yes, it's a bunch of APCs, but they all looks fairly new, without any unit designations on them that I could tell.

The only clear shot I got was @1:27 the acronym "MAIDOF" which I searched on Abbreviations and acronyms dictionary: Find definitions for over 4,219,000 abbreviations, acronyms, and initialisms to no avail.

Could be a scheduled delivery that coincides with the unfortunate events of recent times. Nothing to be alarmed over.

This was taken as the tanks were rolling east through Texas on March 7th of this year.

If those were Bradley Fighting Vehicles, then they were manufactured by BAE systems which does have a location in Sealy Texas. Other domestic manufacturing locations for BAE seem to be on the East coast of the US. Which means that if they were being delivered to any West coast base, the most economical route would be by rail.

Okay, on further investigation it looks like some of those were also M-113 Armored Personnel Carriers, at least to my untrained eye.

That is correct, they were a combination of both and it is confirmed that they were heading on the rails EAST and not west.

So is this the first trainload of "tanks" you have seen? Really? The military moves equipment by rail all the time. Whole trainloads of such equipment are common sights where I'm from. Especially when we are at war, which we have been for many years now.

Sorry, you have me at a loss here. I was not the one who recorded this nor am I stating that this is some secret supply reinforcement for a covert govt. martial law scenario. I don't spend my day watching train loaded material, so I couldn't tell you whether or not this is the only amount which was transported or if there was more.

I merely thought it interesting and wanted to bring this to the attention of all those out there who might have any insight as to the heavy transport.

Do you sit outside with a beer can in one hand and something else in the other on your porch and count so that all of us in the wide world of misrepresentation can be bettered by your vastly superior wisdom?

I don't know, probably for the same reason why the other "martian" wannabe's post the crap they do about the "truth" behind the "Zeta Reticulations" and all the other wacky far out extra terrestrial nonsense they call facts here every day.

Perhaps I wanted to post something domestic and perhaps closer to reality.

looking at the clip it looks to me like a shipment of new or refurbished vehicles, rather than a deployment for action. i base this on the differing camo. If this were a direct deployment of battle assets, i would expect them to have the same cammo spec'd for the region of deployment.

But im just an armchair general and REMF lol.

But the MT is a good place for getting answers to this sort of stuff

Thanks for your reply, but this wasn't a "Real" conspiracy theory. It was posted to prove a point and prove a point it did.

As far as any real deployment of military items or material to defend this nation, I personally more than trust my Armed Forces and know that even though it might not sound politically correct to most people on this forum, I have "FAITH" in those boys and girls out there.

Again if your looking for insight as to the nature off this transport the military times is more likely to give you accurate data than anywhere else.

According to one YT poster on that link, one Fort has been redesignated, and this is a moving of assets to their new location.
I dont see any conspiracy here, i really dont.
You say you are after is insight as to the nature of this transport, there are better sources to poll imo.
You wont find many strawberrys in a pumpkin patch.
