There will always be a need for boots on the ground. There will always be a need for people to assert dominance, and you simply cannot do that from above. There will ALWAYS be targets of opportunity, and they ALWAYS have to show themselves sometime.

As far as a continuation of the third Reich, I've come to the conclusion that this is something that is an ongoing cycle. A nation becomes powerful, then it becomes evil. The evil grows, until it permeates every facet of society, and then that society implodes.
