Here's a few recent bits of news... If Greenland is rising due to melting ice, then something else has to give you would think. Is there a relationship or isn't there ?
How much does 14 feet of ice on Greenland weigh ?

Would a rising Greenland provoke: volcanoes in Iceland, quakes in Japan.... etc, etc... on top of increased hurricane events.

Rock and Roll ;)

when glaciers retreat the planet "rebounds", i would think when a significant amount of ice melts the same would happen. and yes, i would assume it could cause earthquakes and possibly volcanic reactions. glaciers and other ice are supposed to melt and grow and melt and grow, etc... that is what they do. personally i prefer to see the glaciers and ice melting and the planet getting a little warmer. we humans thrive in warmer climates.
