Umm there was another (very small) thread on this a couple of months back. You might like to check out what that says (not too sure which bit of the forum it was in so you'll have to do a search). Anyway ... don't think anyone knows whats going on. Maybe lack of funds or something. Its a shame anyway cos Ted is one of the good guys methinks (famous last words ... hehe).

I wrote to Ted about it. Getting a basic site up is really, really cheap. He can get one for $3-$4 a month that would probably suit his needs so long as he isn't getting hundreds of thousands or millions of page views. Hopefully it'll be back soon.

I don't have an official response yet, but it does appear they are involved in a project that, by the nature of the funding, requires confidentiality. I'm requesting some specifics I can report to you here.

Thanks Gene, its nice to know Ted is still out there somewhere. I think a lot of us are looking forward to the site being back. May be about time to get him back on the prog?? Maybe have an updates show on both the Marley Woods thing and the artifact in Eastern Europe???

Yes, perhaps he raised enough money for an expedition to try and find that cave in the Tatra Mountains. Helicopters are expensive to rent in this country, I can't imagine what one would cost in Eastern Europe. Anyway, we can hope....................

I look forward to hearing it. I wish the UFO field had more individuals like Ted Phillips - he just gets on with his research, and steers clear of any silliness.
 
I was wondering if it was due to the fact that he had google images of Morley or Marley woods. Based on some information people were piecing together the location which might have upset the townfolk in Morley or Marley :P

Morley was the brand of cigarettes the Cigarette Smoking Man smoked in the X-Files ... oooo spoooky :D.

Anyway, could be that ... who knows? Guess we'll just have to wait.
