Paranormal Adept
My wife (scifi geek.) has gotten me to watching this. But, somebody just told me something that kind of is a killer for the "rationality" of the show. They have gone back on a one way trip to the age of the dinosaurs because of the pollution of the future. They need clean air and water. But, this person told me there is a big reason why this would be irrational. I'm gonna get the answer later but I think I just thought of it on my own. The meteor or whatever it was that killed the dino's would have made the planet uninhabitable for a long time. The time travelers couldn't survive either. that's what I think the answer is. Anybody else watch this show or have any other reasons why it would be unwise (apart from being eaten by a T-Rex) to travel back to that time?

Anything they did to"fix" the enviornment would be cancelled by subsequent ice ages. Similar to your doomsday asteroid...

Anyway, once your married to a Science Channel, Scifi Channel and weather channel geek ya gotta be a little flexible. She ain't buyin much of my metaphysical stuff so I'm nice about her stuff. I think they should have just gone back to around 1900 or so if they wanted to work on the enviroment. But, I do like dinosaurs. ;)

The oxygen levels were much higher during the 'Dinosaur' era. (which explained their size)

I doubt human physiology would be compatible with that era.
