First posted here in the Faked Or Too Good To Be True thread, I think my reaction in the caption betrays my immediate offhanded dismissal of the report, assuming it to be a hoax until serious evidence strongly suggests otherwise.

I am sure if I dedicated enough time and effort I could replicate the original photos.
