Gene, like you, I was a big fan of the X-Files right from the get go. I was a bit apprehensive when the producers of the new movie kept the plot so secret. That usually means a stinker is on the way. I read many of the online reviews first and concluded I was going to have to pass on "I Want To Believe". Your review cinched it for me. I am truly disappointed. It looks like the parties involved merely needed to replenish their bank accounts. As usual the fans are made to pay.

I believe X files was good fun but being any help to this field that is open to question. Haveing the FBI trying to investigate the ufo field and the so called aliens seems ridiculous to me i have no oher word for it .For me if I was hideing this secret,i probably would have a Secret Black Budget group highly funded with some excellant minds in the sciences highly trained to carry out field work they would be my eyes an ears in sorting this stuff out probably a small group with military liasons helping them out, the group is probably not hideing as the folklore suggests but are contained in some very well known instuition like the Pentagon or a Airforce base that is well known to the public maybe a base contained within a large city but certain areas of course are restricted for certain military personnel there is a strong security procedure but notting that arises suspicion. Area 51 doesnt seem logical for me as a place to hide something if you say something doesnt exist people think you are hideing something thats a clever ploy and ruse on the militarys part to draw attention away from somewhere else:question:
