I've been having problems with chronic ear issues. They feel plugged up, and itch like mad sometimes.

I break down, and see an allergenist, the same person who diagnosed my wheat and glutein problems. Now...

It's Dairy.

Apparently I'm not only wheat and gluten intolerant, am now Dairy intolerant.

I've been off the wheat and gluten a while, and that was supposed to fix some of my ear issues, but after I have been off of dairy for the last 5 days, I can't say when I've felt more normal.

No more itchy ears, no more ringing. My tinnitus seems to have literally gone away.

With the itchy and burning ears, I would have the worst problem with anxiety. That too has gone away.

I wouldn't advocate going cold turkey like I did, but I can tell you, I've never felt this good in my life.

Not sure why Dairy is my kryptonite, but I can tell you this, I'm better for it.

That's cool that you feel so much better, Tommy! :)

I've been lactose intolerance since birth (and maybe even allergic to dairy, itself never tested to find out). But it DOES make a big difference when people cut that out of their diet in terms of health.

You might also consider a good probiotic to take every day. Just my opinion. Doing this has improved my health for the better, too! It helps allergies, digestion, energy, boosts immunity, eliminate/minimize candida/yeast in the system, etc...

lol my vet once remarked that Humans and Cats were the only animals that consumed Milk in adulthood, and cats only do it because we humans give it to them....8)

ive had a persistant ear problem too, though in my case it seems like a bad tooth is responsible, i had one pulled and it cleared up, but i have a wisdom tooth at the rear of my upper mandible thats gone bad and the ear problem is back.
i really must get it pulled, but ill need at least 2 wild horses to get me there.
in my defence im old and the first dentist i saw used a foot/pedal powered drill chair, i kid you not, no needles no pain killers. just this big cast iron flywheel that he spun up by foot pedal, which in turn fed a pulley system that ultimatly drove the drill bit.......

true story.

still im glad your ears are responding to diet, although the cheeseless pizza's are always going to be hard to get used to

Yeah I really should cut out dairy. Especially milk (like they say, humans are the only animal that continues to drink milk as an adult).

Also coffee. I went to one of those doctors once (naturopath? we just called him the witch doctor) that tried to determine allergies by holding certain things over your body or on your body. He got some coffee and I think placed it on my chest or something, and I could not for the life of me move my legs up against the resistance of the doc holding them down. He takes the coffee away from me and I regain all my strength.

Im drinking coffee right now.

Sounds like he was using Kinesiology. It IS rather fascinating how that works, huh?

Same here, I had it done years ago....and I'd go weak with certain items, etc. too...

All I know, is that my thinking is much clearer, and I'm not nearly as anxious.

I can tell you all this much, it sucks that chocolate is off my menu now, since so much of it is made with Dairy.

It's like I'm in hell now.

I was told that I should probably get screened for cancer, since new found allergens are a symptom that something could be wrong with me.

Which would be par for the course.

Thats it Bixy, Kinesiology. Thanks.

I should really go back and get a full check of everything. I bet if one would cut everything out that affected them in the way that the coffee did for me, one would have a lot more energy.

I stopped drinking coffee, when the Dairy thing came to the front. Talk about a killjoy.

Anyway... Things are definitely better for me over all. I find that going to a doctor for tests, and then pursuing my own cures is better than paying to be on medications the rest of my life.

Of course when I find out that I have cancer, then I'll turn to Gerson's books and see what I can do to cure myself.

broccoli has a nervous system.....
that's really interesting about the dairy thing, tho. I have very dry itchy ears too...they drive me crazy. I don't eat a lot of dairy, except cheese...maybe i should cut back and see if it makes a difference...

Outerjoin got it, too. There seems to be an unusual number of BHS fans here. My Locust Abortion Machine is starting to itch.
